Our Privacy Commitment

Your data stays yours. Big Hill Tech, LLC (BHT) software is designed to process data where it already resides—on your devices, within your networks, and inside your cloud environments—without transmitting that data to us.

At BHT, we are committed to protecting the privacy, confidentiality, and security of our users. We believe that information generated, stored, or processed by our software belongs to the user and should remain under the user’s control.

Data Collection and Ownership

Our software applications are designed to operate using data that remains under the control of the user. Except as expressly described within a specific application, we do not collect, store, sell, share, rent, or transmit user data to BHT or any third party.

Any information processed, analyzed, generated, discovered, or stored by our applications remains the sole property of the user and remains within the user’s accounts, devices, systems, networks, cloud environments, or storage locations. BHT does not obtain ownership, custody, possession, or control of such information.

Data Processing

Our applications are designed to process data locally or within user-controlled environments. Data accessed or processed by the application for its intended functionality is not transmitted to BHT and is not shared with third parties unless the user explicitly configures, authorizes, or initiates such transmission.

BHT does not access, review, monitor, inspect, or analyze user content, customer environments, network traffic, source code, credentials, configuration data, system inventories, wireless data, security findings, or other user information except when expressly authorized by the user for support, troubleshooting, professional services, or other requested assistance.

User Rights

Users retain all rights, title, and interest in their data and in any results, reports, findings, analyses, or other information generated through the use of our software. BHT claims no ownership rights to any user data or any derivative information created through the operation of our software.

Security and Confidentiality

We design our software with a privacy-first and local-first philosophy. Whenever possible, processing occurs within environments controlled by the user, reducing the need for external transmission or storage of sensitive information.

Product-Specific Disclosures

Certain products may optionally support integrations, cloud services, telemetry, diagnostics, software updates, third-party services, or other features that involve the transmission of limited information. Where such functionality exists, it will be clearly disclosed in the documentation or product-specific privacy notices, and any such transmission will be limited to the information necessary to provide the requested functionality.

Changes to This Statement

This Privacy Statement may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in our products, services, or legal obligations. Any updates will be published with a revised effective date.

In summary: Your data stays yours. Our software is designed to work where your data already resides, and we do not collect, transmit, or share your private information unless you explicitly choose to do so.
